The Birthday Edit is a cozy, curated group shoot for people with birthdays in the same month — a blend of solo photo time, reflection, celebration, and connection.
You’ll arrive as strangers, leave with portraits and new energy for the year ahead.

🎈 Intentional Group Kickoff
We start with a gentle moment to reflect on your year — your growth, your wins, and who you’ve become. We’ll guide you through a short, grounding group moment before the party vibes kick in.
📸 Solo Spotlight Time
Each birthday guest gets individual camera time with a styled birthday set. Music plays, the group hypes you up, and you get to shine. You’ll receive:
- 10 professionally edited solo portraits
- Access to a shared album with all guests’ images (albums organized by person)
- Additional images available for purchase ($15 each)
🎁 Bring Your Personality
Props like balloons, candles, signs, or even your own mini cake are encouraged! Some themed props will also be available at the studio.
🤝 Optional Group Portraits
Want to snap a few fun birthday photos with others in your session? Let’s do it! We’ll create space for creative group shots if the vibe is right.

Color Theme & General Wardrobe Guidance
- Palette: Stick to the sign’s color theme with 1–2 accent colors.
- Textures: Mix in texture for visual depth—think lace, velvet, satin, denim, or leather depending on the vibe.
- Shoes & Accessories: Neutral footwear unless the sign is bold (like Leo or Aquarius). Statement earrings, belts, or scarves in accent tones are great.
FAQ
What should I bring?
Come dressed in something you love! You’re welcome to bring any birthday props that express your personality — think balloons, mini cake, custom signs, glitter, etc.
Do I need to know anyone else attending?
Not at all! Most people come solo — part of the magic is meeting others who are also celebrating their birthday in the same month.
Can I bring a friend?
You can bring one support person, but they won't be photographed unless they're also a booked guest. They absolutely can book the same group as well. We recommend coming ready to connect with the group!
How will I receive my photos?
Your photos will be delivered via shared online gallery with a seepage folder for each person within 2 weeks after your shoot date. You'll get 10 edited images included, with the option to purchase more at $15 each.
Can I swap out any delivered photos for watermarked additional photos for purchase?
No — Once the shoot is complete, I will choose the best 10 photos of my judgment with variety. It is my goal to provide you with variety and the most flattering a confident images. Additional photos for optional purchase will be visible ins a separate album for view but cannot be swapped out for any of the chosen 10 photos.
Can I book a private version of this?
Yes — a solo portrait shoot is $400/hr where you will have focus of the shoot 100% on you and 40-50 edited images delivered to you. Reach out directly to start planning!
