Velvett Photos is proud to serve the entire San Francisco Bay Area. While our creative home base is a boutique photography studio in Downtown Oakland, we frequently travel for lifestyle portraits, corporate branding sessions, and luxury photobooth rentals across the region. We regularly work with clients in Oakland, San Francisco, Berkeley, San Jose, Walnut Creek, and Fremont. Travel within 45 miles of Downtown Oakland is completely included in our standard packages, and we offer transparent, flat-rate travel fees for destinations further out.

Booking with us is simple and streamlined! To get started, head over to our booking page near the top of the homepage, choose your date/time and complete the remaining steps including, questionnaire, contract and payment. Please note, some dates of the year further out or during the weekday may require you to reach out first to be added as an option! If you prefer you have a phone/ online meeting prior to booking, you can reach out at 510-543-1716 or velvettphotos@gmail.com. Payment is required in full upfront to officially lock your date on our calendar. Please note that 50% of this total payment serves as your non-refundable booking deposit to secure our team and space.

I understand that life happens and schedules change! If you need to reschedule your photography session, studio rental, or photobooth experience, we require at least 48 hours notice. Your full payment will be safely transferred to a new available date within 3 months of your original booking. Because dates fill up quickly, cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee or forfeiture of 50% of your payment.

Yes, absolutely. Velvett Photos carries full professional commercial liability insurance. If your wedding venue, corporate event space, or production location requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) named additionally insured, please let us know at least 2 weeks prior to your date, and we will happily provide it.
